Now that grad is upon us again, I'm going to finally get around to blogging some of last years grads!! Phew! What a whirlwind of a year!! Hard to believe another class will be walking through the doors in just a few short weeks!!
Can I just say, I am thankful I still have one more year left with my youngest, having him leave me for a week long Mexican vacation (he's still gone) had me really rattled, to the point of tears!! My gosh I don't know how I'm going to do it when it's his turn to graduate!! Cue the tears again!!
So this young lady came to me last year, on the evening of a not so lovely day, we thought we were going to have to reschedule, but it really turned out to be the most amazing evening to photograph. The light after a rain, the way it shimmers on everything it touches, it was really pure magic. And her gown. Pure princess. Loved every second of this grad's experience!! Oh and hey! If you have a dog, OR A CAT, and they're your BEST friend, please do think about including them in some of your portraits!!!
As well, you DO NOT want the session done on grad day itself. As much as you think it might be nice to get everyone in your family while they're dressed up, it's more stress than you can imagine. The timeline is too tight, trust me.
And with that, we are heavy into booking this year out for grad sessions, please don't delay in booking if you wish to get it done! Also remember, the best time to schedule is perhaps a day when you're having a hair and makeup trial day. Just think about that for a second. . . you're saving money!! Who doesn't like to save money!!?? :)
