Imagine going through all the trouble of finding and booking a photographer, getting outfits for your session for everyone to look their best, haircuts possibly. The stress and frustration leading up to your session if you have children who are not cooperating up to the day (lol, I say this because I'm a parent too, and no matter how well you prepare, there is always resistance). Having your session, which SHOULD be fun, and NOT stressful.
Now also imagine only receiving digital files that you have to either download, or get on a little zip drive. Do you know how easy it is to lose digital files? Do you know how easy it is to misplace that little zip drive? Do you KNOW that your kids MAY think it's fun at the moment, to look through your phone to see pictures of themselves now, but I guarantee you they WON'T for much longer.
Now, imagine having some wall prints, a beautiful album, and possibly even a little box of loose prints your kids will be able to see and look through.
Let me share something personal for just a moment. . . I just recently lost my father, to old age. He was 99. We had an amazing life with him, my four siblings and I. But the last few years of his life were clouded with Dementia. The ONLY thing that calmed his mind was to look at pictures, or read about the history of his life. Imagine showing a 99 year old man photos on your little phone. Imagine also the horror of not having any photos to show him when you need to remind him what your son looks like, before they get to visit together.
My father was an amazing man, and photographed often, we have so many photos of him to share with our own families. I'm so happy we have these memories now that he's gone!
Please do your family a favor and choose to have printed images from your sessions.
