But I hope, not too soon!! After a few days at the beach, on hot, hot days, I felt it necessary to revisit one of my photos from the PinUp & Bulldogs shoot. This lovely lady had the most wonderful canine model to work with, and I remember the day like it was yesterday, we had soooo much fun with this one!!!!

I have finally decided to start offering frames from the Organic Bloom. They are soooo much fun!! And they come in soo many different colors!!

I have been wanting to post pictures for a very long time now, of my studio, so you can get a feel for where and who I am.
This is my home away from home.
This is where I dream, create, and feel.
Welcome to my space, make yourself at home.

More to come, as soon as I have a bit more time!
These little guys and girls are ready to go to their forever homes now, so good luck to the new human parents, and have fun!!!

I’m starting to think they all look the same . . . but I know they’re not! ![]()

Some very good friends have a litter of chocolate labs, they are 6 weeks old, and I had the pleasure of having them in the studio today! Aren’t they sweet??? I don’t have time to add any more than three at the moment, but I’ll show some more later! Thanks for looking!

Today I had the pleasure of photographing one of our hard working law enforcers. He has to be the friendliest out there, and I was happy (and lucky) to get to chat with him afterwards. Hats off to an awesome guy, or rather, hats on?

Every year at this time I, along with many of my fellow PPOC members, struggle to find (maybe struggle is a harsh word for some?) those few images that really struck a chord with them, so much so that they worked them until they were competition worthy. I love this time of year, it’s nerve wracking, but at the same time it pushes me forward, towards making something a little extraordinary out of my images. The PPOC print salon is not an easy competition. There are no shortcuts to take, there are no snapshots worthy, this is the best of the best. This is the kind of imagery I strive to make every day. It’s not just pressing the shutter button, it’s so much more than that. Artistry, vision, and depth. Thinking outside the box.
My image titled “The Love Boat” scored an “accepted”

And my image titled “Colored Girl” scored an “Excellence”!!!

and such long eyelashes too! She was such a sweet thing, and aside from just a little fussing, not a peep!

some snuggles with mama. . .

a family photo, a little different from my usual style. . .
