Through my work with The Tiny Light Foundation I’ve had the pleasure of getting published in the March edition of Red Deer’s Child Magazine! Very exciting not only for me but for this wonderful organization that is made up of photographers donating their talents, and amazing families and their children who have been diagnosed with life altering illnesses. The facebook page of The Tiny Light Foundation is already over 1000 fans strong, in just a couple short months! Amazing!

When first contacted by The Tiny Light Foundation I was excited because I was looking for something different to donate my time to, on an ongoing basis. I read through their website and realized how lucky I am to have two very healthy children. I don’t know what I would do if I were faced with the challenges these parents face every day.
I contacted the mom, set the session all up, and excitedly awaited my first Tiny Light session.
As soon as they opened the door, I could see it was going to be a fun, fast paced session. Here we have a 2 year old, with her mommy and daddy at her disposal, (baby sis was sleeping), and someone with a big camera chasing her around. Once mommy pulled the trick out of her sleeve, Madison was all smiles and giggles :) She loves honeycomb cereal for snack time, watching Toopy & Binoo, (wow, it’s been so long since that was on my television, did I spell it right?), and jumping on mommy&daddy’s bed. Oh, she also has a fascination with pens. :)
It was difficult putting a stop to the session at last, Madison has such a spark, so much energy, and hopefully she continues to be this fun and carefree!! You can find her story HERE, under “Our Tiny Lights” (if it’s not there yet, don’t worry, they’re still catching up over there!)
And this is Madison, the little person responsible for the smile upon my face for the rest of the day :)
