I had the company of a family of 11 this afternoon, plus Sherwood the dog.
I knew as soon as someone said the “f” word (not THAT f word), that I was going to have fun with them. What a wonderful group of people they were! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the twins and they’re parents already, last year, in the studio. Have a look HERE to see how the twins have changed! Here’s a quick peek at some of my favourites of the day ~

LOVE her hair!!! She is one stylish mommy!

I think we had a bit of a dance move here. . . not sure. . . but it sure was funny!

Yes!! We saw a moose in the river!!

The twins, they've changed so much in the last year!

The very stylish mom!

Great Grandma and Grandma
It was a chilly day for the young ones, but the sun was out and it kept us warm as long as we stayed in it. The littlest man made me work, really hard, for some nice comfortable expressions.Thank goodness for uncle, who produced the lollipop! I’m having a hard time narrowing down my favorites but hopefully this sneak peek will give you an idea of how the session went. Thanks for the fun session yesterday, “S” family!

is soooooo sweet!! I just love that they make the time to have regular family photos done, and also love that they come to me to do them!! Thank you so much for inviting me to do your fall photos, I hope they’re everything you dreamed of!

I was so happy to hear from this family, the last time I photographed them was when big sister was just a baby, 4 months old to be exact. Now they have an addition, and she’s 4 months old as well, so it’s neat to see the similarities between the two at this age. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day, well, perhaps a little cloud cover, but what are we gonna do?? Enjoy some candid moments with a young family, thats what!! And daddy came prepared with an umbrella!
Thanks again, I hope you enjoy your sneak peeks!

What I really wanted for this family photo was a beautiful sunset, but alas, the weather man predicted we would be getting some evening thunderstorms, and it looked like they were coming. Sooooo, we shot earlier than planned, and it worked out fine, but then the thunderstorms never came. Geeeeeez, weather predictions are not so accurate these days!!
Thanks for being such an awesome family to shoot!

I got to meet this pair of sweeties yesterday evening, and even tho the mosquitos were a handful, we braved it and had some fun! I do hope you like your sneak peeks!

I am well behind in blogging this family, but they were so much fun with their ideas, I just have to share a few!! You know what they say right? The family that plays together, stays together. . .

I only have two boys, and they’re a handful at times. . . I can only imagine what these boys are going to do when the littlest one gets older! ![]()
I’m only posting two for now, it’s late and I’m ready for the weekend. . . thank you to this family for choosing me as your photographer, I loved listening to Mr. X’s laugh as he rolled around on the floor! Such cuteness!

I think I may be brewing up a special mothers day package after looking at this image while editing today! Stay tuned. . .

and in trying to let the kids see that its no big deal having a picture taken, mom and dad posed alone, and got all cute looking ![]()

Here’s little “S”, she is a girl on the go so we had to box her in to get her to sit still ![]()

Big brother “I”, posing like my favorite t.v. character, Clark Kent, (Superman, for those of you who didn’t know;)

I hope you enjoy your sneak peeks!
and such long eyelashes too! She was such a sweet thing, and aside from just a little fussing, not a peep!

some snuggles with mama. . .

a family photo, a little different from my usual style. . .

One of my favorite clients, and friend, came in today with her sister, for a yearly photo session. I think it’s so important to update your family photos as often as you can, and with these ladies it just comes naturally to be in front of the camera since they grew up having their photos taken by mom. How nice it must be to have drawers of photos from years ago and have those memories come flooding back every time you look at them. Listening to their stories left me wanting more. Me, with only a handful to look through from my childhood, but, better some than none I guess. . .
The beautiful sister I met for the first time. . .
and the two of them together doing what sisters do . . .

Isn’t it amazing how when a new little life comes into this world, your world gets turned upside down? What amazing strength these little beings have, without even trying. Yes. Amazing. Welcome to the world little “K”!

I just realized, again, that I had forgotten to blog this family session! They were all such a joy to photograph! Thanks again for choosing me as your photographer!
