I love to see kids being kids. The silliness, the funny faces, even the pouty faces. They were so cute!!

These young ladies, sisters, were a hoot to shoot
They looked like they enjoyed eachothers company, (don’t most sisters ????)
They braved the tall grass, the squishy noises underneath their feet, and the “reflector holder” who kept lighting up their faces. Mom, thank you.
So, just a couple for now, got a long day to prepare for tomorrow! Talk soon!

Oh I just love her dress!!!! Such a cute little thing she is, such a little spark of energy. Have fun in grade 1 little miss “C”!
whom I’ve grown very fond of since they started coming to me. One more session and they’ll be 1 year old already! Whew! Time flies.

with a mom and her adorable son, it made me want to run home to my boys and quickly grab the camera and do some self portraits with them. I need to do this sometime soon with mine, before they get too big. . .

My sweet little visitor of the day . . . my how grown up she is getting.

Thank you so much to his mommy & daddy for letting me be a small part of his first year!
Here’s little “J” with his two biggest fans!

can’t forget one on the tractor . . .

And the birthday cake!

Twins! some great eye contact today with these two little people. . . by the time we’re done with their first year, my goodness they’re going through lots of changes! Why, I thought for sure little man was looking like he was going to roll over, mom says “nah, he won’t” and what do you think he does??? Just like that! Takes just a second to jump into the next big milestone for these little people! Thanks so much mom, for bringing your sweet peas in today! See you again in 3 months!

Such a cutie!!!! I am going to post a newborn along with these one year photos when I get a minute so that I can show all of you how important it is to document your childs growth in their first year, but for now I just have to show how adorable this little fella is in the outfit his mom brought him in. I just love parents like this! I just so happened to have a hat that finished off his look perfectly!

and the cake. . .gotta have cake for your 1st birthday!!! I am so proud of the way he just dived into that cake!!!

and then you gotta have a bath after all that cake. . .

So stinkin’ adorable, I could have chatted all morning with mr. D, but occasionally the subject would go sort of, well, you know boys, they like to talk about boogers ‘n stuff sometimes. . .

Little miss A, well, she LOOOOOOOOVED the dress-up part so much, to get her to twirl was easy peasy!

And well, sibling closeness, at its best, relish it now, cause you won’t see it for long! ![]()

All this little guy needs now is a wooden horse. . . hmmmm, maybe my next find. . .

So we’re bringin’ out the “trees” and adding a little Christmas”y” feel to it! The clothing helps too, don’t ya think? Thanks “M” for coming in today! Talk to you soon!

can be such a bittersweet time ~ especially if he’s the only boy

Little “J” is growing up! Taking some of his first steps in my studio! I feel so honored!
A big thank you to his mommy and daddy for bringing him and his big brother in today!
