I’m not sure what to think, except that I believe in Santa even more now, even tho my kids don’t anymore!  I mean look at these two, whom I’m sure are working for Santa, they played the part so well it’s hard to think they’re normal everyday kids just hanging out having photos taken. And Santa, look at him, true to his form, never wanting to be seen, this HAS to be Santa!!! ;)

I had the company of miss “C” today, she is a dancer, and she is almost 4. By the time we got near the end of the session she was my friend, and had beautiful, genuine smiles and expressions. Such a good listener for a 4 year old! I know somebody who’s on Santa’s Good List!! Keep up the good work!!

Just one sneak peek. . .

So, if you didn’t know already, I do school photography here in the studio. I know from experience that the school photographs don’t always turn out the way we’d like them to, and I get that, being a parent myself who’s kids don’t even bother to bring them home (well, one of them anyways). The reason they don’t always turn out is because they have a very limited time in which to get a workable shot of your child, many kids to go through in two days means some kids get no time to really open up in front of the camera the way they need to. Here’s where I come in. . . You bring in your kids, I shoot until I’m happy with the expressions they’ve given me, and you purchase photos you’re happy with. Call me for details, or go to my facebook page, it’s all right there! :)

She was so quick on her feet and kept me running the whole time. She giggled like an angel, as I scooped her back up and put her where she needed to be, giving her a tickle just to hear that giggle one more time. . . just what my day needed. . . giggles. Love days like these :)

I got to meet this pair of sweeties yesterday evening, and even tho the mosquitos were a handful, we braved it and had some fun! I do hope you like your sneak peeks!

is fun, according to this guy, Mr. E, he’s all action and not much stillness. ;)   Happy birthday man!

back in the studio for his 18 month session, he’s changing so fast, getting a little bit of ‘tude as his 2nd year approaches, but twice as much cuteness . . . mama, you’re doing a wonderful job with him!!!

I am almost finished editing this session, and to add to the post below, I’ve got to share my favorite of this young lady, who looks so much older than her age!!

Both of these kids are so well behaved, and they were so much fun to photograph. I was excited about my shoot with them after their mom booked with me, because I knew they would be making it personal, which always makes it more fun. They brought things that were meaningful to them, in turn making them relax and be who they are, which is very important in a portrait, don’t you think? ;)
Thanks again for choosing me as your photographer, and I hope these sneak peeks will hold you until I’m finished editing the rest!

I had this family in tonight, and they were so much fun! I just fed off the energy of the two little ones, well, I think mom and dad did too, and with energy like that, a session is bound to be fun!!!
Thank you to my lovely clients “A” & “J” for referring them! Love you guys!

and I came across this photo of little “S” looking into the Christmas ball. It needed a teeny touch of something. :)

I scored big time when just this morning a friend of mine brought in this adorable little hatbox that she had painted. Let me know if you want anything painted, she’ll do the job! Isn’t it cute???
